We had the absolute joy of welcoming the wonderful team from Artemis for a day of corporate volunteering and cooking for Rose Voucher Families from Hammersmith and Fulham on Friday, October 11th.
Under the expert tutelage of Nika from Nika’s Kitchen, the nine members of Artemis’s staff cooked a wonderful banquet packed full of fresh fruit and vegetables. Coconut jerk lentils, cabbage with butterbeans, and a delicious fruit salad with ginger zinger dressing were all on the menu.
The whole event had a wonderful party atmosphere and celebrated our work in the Hammersmith and Fulham area.
Our work in this area began in 2017, and Rose Vouchers are now available at six locations and can be spent at Shepherds Bush and North End Road markets. Since our project opened, we have supported over 1,400 families, and thanks to the generous funding of Artemis and other amazing partners, we hope to support many more in the future.
